Meet April on the Mat

Workout alongside founder of Yoga Studio 90. April has been practicing hot Yoga for 22+ years. Her real life experience as an avid YOGI, teaching tens of thousands of classes and her transparency in how THIS workout improves not only your health but your life is what separates April from the rest.
Be prepared to learn WHY the poses transform your body and how this practice helps your daily functional movements when you aren’t on the mat. You’re in for an amazing workout and a good time. Let’s sweat y’all!

YS90 Signature

Our signature workout is done in our hot studio at 90° so we encourage you to turn off your AC and kick up a portable heater. High intensity interval training combined with Pilates & Yoga exercises leave your body strengthened and your mind renewed. You’ll be challenged and you’ll be changed by this unique, evolving full body workout.

FLOga

Experience smoothly connected poses with stretching and balance work so you are continuously moving to the beat of the music. FLOga incorporates traditional YS90 poses with shorter reps so you will get a full body workout. You’ll feel totally refreshed once you’ve completed the class.

RESTORE

You’ll experience poses and exercises like those in YS90 with longer holds and deep stretches targeting connective tissue. If you are looking to stretch your body deeper and sculpt your muscle groups, this is the class for you. This class is for all fitness levels. Prepare to sweat and leave feeling completely renewed.

STRETCH

This class includes a series of postures including long holds and deep stretches targeting connective tissue and breathing.

Sculpt & Flow

Sculpt and Flow marries high intensity interval training combined with mat Pilates, Yoga poses with the addition of small hand weights. If you are looking to see more definition, long, lean muscles and BURN more this is the workout for you.

What do I need?

For our online yoga classes, you’ll only need a Yoga mat, water bottle, and a towel for sweating. Wear something you feel good moving in. Our studio is 90 degrees, so we suggest adding a small space heater to create a warm environment if possible, or even stepping outside for your workout session!

Arrive to your mat hydrated and nourished. Don’t eat a huge meal before your workout —trust us, a full belly is never a good idea right before yoga!

But the most important thing… show up for your time on the mat with an open mind!

What if I’ve never done Yoga before? What if I’m not flexible enough for this workout?

No Yoga experience is needed for our unique workouts! Consistent practice (and the heat combo) will have you feeling stretchy in due time. Practice with patience and grace for the moment you’re in, and with consistent practice you will notice increased flexibility and endurance over time.

How often should I do these workouts?

April’s philosophy from her 20 + years of experience is to plan to practice these workouts 4-6 days a week. The more you practice regularly, the better you’ll feel and see the results.

Can I try an OnDemand class before I sign up?

Yes, for a limited time, we are offering your first month for only $1 so you can experience all that OnDemand has to offer! Just visit this link to sign up and get started. Do I have to sign a contract? What are my membership options?

At YS90, we do not have contracts – we offer subscriptions by the month. If you choose to cancel your membership at any time, we will be very sad to see you leave, but we only ask you give us a 30 day notice by email at [email protected] to cancel your membership.

If you are located near our studio in Baton Rouge, LA, we have a variety of membership options to suit your needs, like our unlimited Total Body Membership which includes access to OnDemand.
